My name is Veronica, and I am passionate about helping students and learners understand complex concepts in a simple, practical, and enjoyable way. With a strong academic foundation in Applied Radiation Science and Technology, Nuclear Medicine, Biochemistry, and Microbiology, as well as four years of professional experience as a Dosimetry Scientist, I bring both academic depth and real-world application to my teaching.

Beyond my scientific work, I also have hands-on teaching and training experience, from teaching university students and high school learners through scientific concepts to mentoring colleagues in laboratory procedures, research methods, and safety practices. I understand that every learner has a unique pace and learning style, and I strive to create lessons that are clear, supportive, and engaging. I specialise in helping students with: Physics and Nuclear Science fundamentals; Biology, Chemistry, and Life Sciences; English; Study skills, scientific writing, and exam preparation.

What makes my teaching style unique is my ability to break down complex ideas into simple, relatable explanations, making learning easier and more enjoyable. I am patient, encouraging, and dedicated to seeing my students grow in confidence and ability.

    In this role, I am responsible for ensuring accurate dosimetry measurements and maintaining high standards of radiation safety. I review and improve laboratory procedures to support regulatory compliance and quality assurance. My duties include liaising with clients, preparing quotations, and providing technical support where needed. I also contribute to scientific reporting, data analysis, and research activities within the laboratory. I maintain my training records and continuously develop my professional competence to support the team’s overall performance.
