I am a professional with a background in Accounting and Finance, and a wide exposure in Academics and work in the Corporate sector. Having been involved in teaching Undergraduate and Postgraduate students for over two decades, my teaching is thus focused on a student’s need to understand the concepts which is done through using real life practical examples. This strategy enables a student to handle many complex questions breaking them down to simple component parts.
In addition to coaching students, training employees in the corporate sector in areas such as Finance for Non-finance, has been modular based – focusing on Financial Accounting, Cost Management and Decision making, Working capital management, Budgeting and making effective Investment Decisions. In addition, Communication and Presentation skills, handling effective meetings, Goal setting are among other areas of training delivery.
The training sessions are practical based, involving analysis of case studies, role play, together with participants delivering presentations of findings.
I believe in maintaining standards of quality; be it in academics, operations or my personal life. Quality and Value are two driving forces that I attempt to always pursue and inculcate in those that I associate with.
