Vanessa WallaceAttorney-at-Law/Civil Litigator | Private Practice
No reviews yet
I am an Attorney-at-Law in private practice, holding a Bachelor of Science in Law (First Class Honours) and the Legal Education Certificate, with a strong passion for legal education and youth development. My professional training and courtroom experience allow me to bridge the gap between legal theory and real-world application, making the study of Law engaging, practical, and relevant for CAPE students.
I have several years of experience as a part-time tutor, providing instruction in Reading and English Language to students from Grades 6-12. This broad teaching background has strengthened my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, adapt lessons to different learning styles, and support students across varying academic levels. As a result, I am particularly skilled at guiding students through the analytical reading, critical thinking, and structured writing required for success in CAPE Law.
My teaching approach is student-centred, structured, and exam-focused, while encouraging independent thinking and confident expression. I emphasize:
1. Clear understanding of legal principles
2. Development of strong legal reasoning and argumentation
3. Mastery of examination techniques
4. Application of Caribbean legal systems to practical scenarios
I am committed to fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, debate legal issues, and develop a genuine appreciation for the law.
