I teach because I am passionate about helping students make music truly relevant to their lives. There is no greater joy for me than guiding a student through the complexities of chord theory and watching that 'lightbulb moment' happen.

It is incredibly rewarding to see them transition from struggling with basics to confidently performing their favorite pop songs. By helping them develop the creative skills to understand the 'why' behind the music, I get to watch their self-expression flourish. Seeing that boost in confidence—not just in their playing, but in their overall sense of capability—is exactly what fuels my passion every day.
