Hello, my name is Hema Latha Yelumalai. I am a Tamil Language and Tamil Literature tutor with six years of teaching experience, and I have also served as an SPM Tamil Literature examiner. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Tamil Studies, and teaching Tamil has always been more than just a profession for me it is a passion.

I want to teach because I truly enjoy helping students understand, not just memorise. I believe that learning Tamil should be meaningful, enjoyable, and empowering. Many students struggle because they feel lost or lack confidence, and my goal is to guide you step by step, helping you build strong foundations and exam skills while developing a genuine appreciation for the language and its literature.

I am committed to supporting each student with patience, clear explanations, and personalised guidance. Seeing students grow in confidence, improve their results, and begin to enjoy learning is what motivates me every day. I look forward to learning together and helping you achieve your best.
