Naatiya Kalaimani Guru Smt. Narmadha, Director of Sri Narumugai Naatyalaya (Arts and Cultural Academy), Chennai, is a renowned exponent of Bharathanatyam, dedicated to propagating the rich traditions of both the Vazhuvoor and Kalakshetra styles for over three decades.

My journey in the classical arts began at the tender age of five, under the guidance of eminent gurus “Smt.Kanchana Janarthanan” and “Smt.Dr.Divyasena”, and has since evolved into a lifelong commitment to dance and culture. In addition to Bharathanatyam, I am giving training for Carnatic vocal music, light music, western dance, and yoga, offering a holistic approach to performing arts education.

I have completed both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Bharathanatyam, and has also earned a Ph.D. in the same discipline from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, further deepening her academic and artistic contributions to the field. I have been honored with several prestigious titles in recognition of her contributions to the classical arts, including:
