Hi! I’m an Economics graduate (MA) with strong training in Math and Statistics, and I tutor students who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or “behind” in quantitative courses. If you’re starting from zero, that’s completely fine — I’m patient, structured, and I’ll meet you exactly where you are.
### What I tutor
**Economics:** Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Intro Econometrics (and many topics in intermediate/upper-year economics)
**Statistics:** Descriptive stats, probability, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, regression, interpretation of outputs
**Math:** Algebra, functions, pre-calculus, calculus fundamentals, and the math used in econ/stat courses
### How my tutoring works (step-by-step)
Most students don’t struggle because they’re “not smart.” They struggle because the course moves fast and they never get a clean foundation. My sessions are designed to fix that quickly:
1. **Quick diagnosis** – we identify the exact point where things stopped making sense.
2. **Clear explanation** – I explain concepts in plain language, then show the method step-by-step.
3. **Guided practice** – you do problems while I coach your thinking and correct mistakes in real time.
4. **Repeatable strategy** – I teach you how to recognize question types and choose the right approach.
5. **Action plan** – you leave with focused practice tasks so you keep improving between sessions.
### What you can expect
* Lessons that are **organized and beginner-friendly** (I can assume you know nothing and build up properly)
* A focus on **problem-solving**, not memorization
* Help understanding **why** formulas and results work, so exams feel predictable
* Support with assignments and exam prep in a way that builds independence and confidence
* A calm, respectful approach — no judgment, no rushing
### Best fit for my tutoring
You’ll benefit most if you want to (1) build a strong foundation, (2) improve grades, and (3) become faster and more confident with practice. If you share your course outline or a few sample questions, I can quickly create a plan for what we should cover first.
If you’re ready, tell me your course, your current level, and what you’re struggling with most — and we’ll start with a clear plan.
