I am a psychiatrist with 5 years of experience in clinical practice and 10 years of medical education. I focus on teaching psychiatry through concept-based and exam-oriented learning, with particular emphasis on mental status examination, diagnostic formulation, DSM and ICD classification, and psychopharmacology. My approach prioritizes clinical reasoning over rote memorization, using structured explanations and case-based discussions to help postgraduate trainees and clinicians build clarity, confidence, and practical competence in psychiatry. I belief that psychiatry is best learned through conceptual clarity and phenomenology
My teaching encourages thinking like a psychiatrist, not just answering exams
And also aims to build confidence, clarity, and long-term understanding in learners. I have experience managing common psychiatric disorders
And take great interest in integrating sleep, mood, anxiety, and stress-related symptoms into holistic care. I also create awareness of medical–psychiatric interface in daily practice, all of which I instill in my students too. I aim to provide clarity, curiosity and clinical judgment through case-based discussions, visual learning tools, and exam-oriented frameworks, which my students can carry forward throught out their careers .
