Danielle Rushworth IB Diploma Chemistry & ESS Tutor with PhD
No reviews yet

I am a PhD-qualified environmental geochemist offering online tutoring in IB Diploma Chemistry and Environmental Systems & Societies (ESS), along with university-level project and research mentoring in Environmental Science and Ocean Science.

I completed my undergraduate degree in the UK (University of Liverpool), earned my PhD in Environmental Geochemistry in Europe, and carried out postdoctoral research in the United States. I have several years of experience teaching, lecturing, and mentoring undergraduate and master’s students, supporting them in coursework, laboratory work, and research projects.

My lessons are clear, structured, and tailored to each student’s goals. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding, linking theory to real-world examples, and helping students apply their knowledge confidently in exams and assessments. For IB students, lessons are aligned with the IB Diploma syllabus, including support with Internal Assessments (IAs).

I am currently based in Southeast Asia and offer online lessons at times suitable for students across Asia-Pacific. I work best with motivated secondary and university-level students who want to improve understanding, confidence, and performance in science.
