Hello. I have been teaching maths(SAT) and physics (AP) for last 2 years and also have experience teaching IB students in form of private tuition. I incline towards more sound, intuitive understanding of a concept, followed by application (numerically and analyis) immediately after the topic is finished in class. Home-work solving mostly includes book questions, scouring through the interent for different olympiad questions. A major issue i find in students is the fear of being wrong and therefore staying silent in class. I encourage my students to make mistakes, that tends to open them to thinking broadly.
