Joel KimaraiCivil Engineering, structural Analysis, Research

I am a Civil Engineering teacher at a University of technology, who values an interactive teaching process with practical examples in each topic covered. I consider students' questions and engage widely with examples, which has helped my students forster best grades in Structural Analysis, structural design, and Civil engineering material engineering courses. This has made me a role model to many students who never shy away from consulting me in other units allocated to other lecturers for guidance. I am a passionate researcher in structural modelling, structural failure, civil engineering materials (supplementary cementitious materials, fibre reinforced concrete, and supplementary civil engineering materials), and Structural dynamicds. What separates me from other teachers is the passion, commitment, attentiveness, and relentless search for improvements in this field. I aspire to help students to pull together with me in the academic pinnacle.
