I am an experienced School Counselor, Child Psychologist, and Remedial Teacher with over 23 years of experience in the education field. I currently work in an ICSE school in Mumbai and teach Psychology to Grade 11 students (Maharashtra Board). I hold an MSc in Human Development, MS in Psychology, B.Ed., Diploma in Clinical Psychology and am pursuing a Ph, with a strong academic and practical foundation in child and adolescent psychology.
My teaching style is student-centered, interactive, and application-based. I focus on helping students understand psychological concepts by connecting theory with real-life examples, case studies, discussions, role-plays, and reflective activities. I believe learning becomes meaningful when students feel emotionally safe, understood, and encouraged to think critically.
As a counselor and remedial educator, I am skilled in working with children with learning difficulties, emotional challenges, behavioral concerns, and academic stress. I collaborate closely with parents and teachers to design individualized support strategies that promote emotional well-being, self-confidence, and academic growth.
My methodology integrates counselling techniques, experiential learning, life-skills education, and positive psychology approaches.
