I hold a Bachelor of Psychology (with a minor in English Literature) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as dual Master’s degrees in Management (2021) and Music (2026) from CUHK. With extensive experience teaching English to adults and primary/secondary students, an IELTS score of 8.5, and full proficiency in written Chinese and spoken Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, lessons can be conducted entirely in English where desired.
Musically, I have many years of experience in classical singing and choral arranging, and has studied with renowned baritones in Hong Kong and France. He has performed for several years with Opera Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong Chorus, and holds ABRSM Grade 8 in both piano and voice, achieving a distinguished 138/150 in voice.
Currently completing a Master’s degree in Music at CUHK, to be conferred in June, he is proficient in written Chinese and fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, making him well suited to trilingual music and vocal instruction. Adopting a flexible, student-centred approach, I tailor methods and materials to each learner’s strengths, learning style, and academic goals.
