’m a native Californian with many years of experience teaching English, chess, and magic to children and adults from around the world. My teaching style is interactive, engaging, and practical, with a strong focus on confidence-building, clear communication, and creative thinking.

I have been professionally trained as a magician since the age of six, which deeply influences how I teach. Magic develops focus, presentation skills, memory, and self-confidence — tools that translate directly into language learning and strategic thinking. I use these techniques to keep lessons fun, memorable, and highly effective.

I am also a chess master, and I help students develop strong fundamentals, pattern recognition, and long-term strategic thinking. Chess lessons are structured yet playful, encouraging patience, problem-solving, and mental discipline.

I specialize in conversational English and real-world communication, helping students speak naturally rather than memorizing scripts. I speak English, Mandarin Chinese, and Thai, allowing me to explain difficult concepts clearly and support learners at different levels.
