I am a postgraduate student in Microbiology with a strong academic background and extensive hands-on laboratory exposure. I hold a B.Sc. in Microbiology and am currently pursuing my M.Sc. in Microbiology with a bioinformatics elective. My academic journey has helped me build a clear conceptual understanding of core microbiology subjects along with practical applications.
I have worked in multiple laboratory environments including academic research labs and pharmaceutical quality control laboratories. Through these experiences, I have gained practical knowledge of microbial culture techniques, media preparation, aseptic handling, staining methods, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, RT-PCR, gel electrophoresis, microbial limit testing, environmental monitoring, and basic molecular biology workflows. I am also familiar with good laboratory practices, documentation, and data accuracy.
Alongside lab work, I have a strong interest in teaching and concept explanation. I focus on explaining topics in a simple, structured, and exam-oriented manner, making it easier for students to understand complex microbiology concepts. I can help students with fundamentals as well as applied topics such as microbiology techniques, molecular biology basics, virology concepts, and laboratory methods.
I adapt my teaching style according to the student’s level, whether they are in school, undergraduate, or early postgraduate studies. My goal is to build strong fundamentals, improve clarity, and boost confidence in biology and microbiology through clear explanations and real-life laboratory examples.
