Hello! I’m Shashank Mrunal Dhagdhage, an Arena Grandmaster (AGM) and professional chess coach with over 5+ years of coaching experience and 16+ years of competitive playing experience at state, national, and international levels.

I am the Founder & CEO of Mindcastle Chess Academy, where we have trained 200+ students globally, ranging from complete beginners to advanced tournament players. Several of my students have gone on to qualify for state and national-level championships, while many others have developed strong analytical thinking, focus, and decision-making skills through chess.

I have represented my university MIT-WPU at the All India Inter-Zonal Chess Championship (Men) and captained the team at AIU Nationals, where I was recognized as one of the best captains in the university’s history. I have also been part of a Limca Book of Records for The Biggest Simultaneous Chess Play in India.
