I am a detail oriented, problem solver who is a strong advocate for student learning. I teach through a constructivist lens that enables learners to lean into their strengths while being guided on how to improve their weaknesses. In my classroom, students will learn by doing through constant instruction, coupled with timely feedback; however, I will be sure to effectively listen to my students, and ensure the learning environment remains student centred. To effectively gauge the progression and/or regression of my students, I administer assessments. This helps to check for learning. Moreover, I tailor the lessons, as well as the assessments to suit the needs of the learner.
