Teaching Experience & Methodology

I have over three years of teaching experience with English-speaking students. During my time at the University of Warwick, I tutored mathematics online for UK public school students over a two-year period. In the summer of my first year, I volunteered in Ghana through the Warwick in Africa program, where I taught mathematics at a public school for one month. This invaluable experience strengthened my communication skills, cultural awareness, and passion for education.

In my final year at Warwick, I served as both a mentor and mentor coordinator for first-year students in the Statistics Department. This role gave me the opportunity to support students academically and personally, while also developing leadership and organizational skills.

After graduating with First-Class Honours in MMORSE (Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, and Economics), I worked in the actuarial department of the UK government for two and a half years, including a one-year secondment at the Department for Education. This professional experience has given me strong analytical and problem-solving skills, which I bring into my teaching.

Teaching Style

My approach is student-centered, supportive, and results-oriented. I aim to:
1. Break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps.
2. Encourage questions and active participation.
3. Adapt lessons to each student’s pace and needs.
4. Focus on both understanding and application for long-term mastery.

Subjects & Expertise
