I am a piano, music theory, and composition teacher with 16 years of teaching experience and a strong academic music background. I work with students of all ages, from young beginners starting at 4 years old to adult learners and seniors, tailoring lessons to each student’s goals, personality, and pace. My teaching style combines a warm, supportive atmosphere with clear structure and high standards, helping students feel confident, motivated, and genuinely interested in music.

I prepare students for Royal Conservatory of Music exams from Levels 1 to 10, with consistent results of 80% and above. I work comfortably with both the official RCM curriculum and more relaxed pop-oriented material, always building a solid foundation in technique, theory, musicality, and overall understanding of how music works. Lessons often include games and creative exercises, especially for younger students, and complex concepts are broken down into simple, logical steps that lead to strong long-term skills.

In addition to classical training, I have long-term experience as a film composer, which allows me to bring a broader musical perspective into lessons without overwhelming students. I also work with adults, DJs, and music producers who want to organize their knowledge, deepen their understanding of harmony and composition, and become more confident in their creative choices. Alongside music, I also teach Russian as a second language, which can be helpful for bilingual families or students interested in language learning.
