I am an experienced English Literature and Drama teacher working with students from lower levels through high school. My lessons are designed to help learners build strong analytical skills, deepen their understanding of texts, and develop confidence in both written and spoken expression.
In English Literature, I support students in reading texts closely, understanding themes, characters, context, and literary techniques, and expressing their ideas clearly in essays and discussions. I guide students step by step through analysis, helping them move from basic comprehension to thoughtful interpretation and critical thinking. Lessons are adapted to the student's level, curriculum, and learning goals, whether they are strengthening foundational skills or preparing for assessments and exams.
In Drama and Theatre, I focus on performance skills, textual interpretation, and creative expression. Students learn how to analyze plays, understand character motivation, use voice and movement effectively, and approach performances with confidence. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring ideas, asking questions, and developing their artistic voice.
My teaching style is structured, clear, and supportive. I believe that students learn best when expectations are clear, and lessons are engaging and well-organized. I adapt my methods to suit each learner's pace and needs, ensuring steady progress and meaningful improvement.
Whether a student needs help understanding literary texts, improving academic writing, preparing for exams, or building confidence in drama and performance, my goal is to help them succeed with clarity, confidence, and skill.
