Post doctoral research associate (Jan, 2023–Sep, 2025) at Oak Ridge National Labs

As a synthetic organic chemist, I design and synthesize small molecules to serve as ligands for the chemical separation of radionuclides. My work involves optimizing molecular structures to enhance structure–activity relationships and identify the most effective compounds for selective separation. I conduct experiments in both standard and radiological laboratory facilities, adhering to strict safety protocols.

I contribute both independently and as part of a collaborative team. In addition to research, I mentor undergraduate and graduate students, providing guidance in lab techniques and scientific development. I also help maintain laboratory operations and ensure compliance with safety standards. Whenever possible, I actively participate in platforms to present and share our research findings.
