Dear Hiring Team,
I am excited to submit my application for the Chess Coach position at ChessKlub. With a
FIDE rating of 1630 and over four years of hands-on experience coaching students ranging
from beginners to advanced players, I am eager to bring my passion for chess and
commitment to student development to your team.
During my time at RCA Chess Academy and as an independent coach, I have designed
personalized training programs, conducted one-on-one and group sessions, and prepared
students for competitive tournaments. Many of my students have secured multiple victories
at local and national levels, with improved tactical thinking, focus, and resilience. Working
with underprivileged players as a volunteer coach has further strengthened my
approach—fostering confidence, teamwork, and perseverance in diverse learning
environments. The recognition I received from the Director of the orphanage girls’ school
stands as a testament to the positive impact of mentorship.
Academically, I balanced my chess career with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from St.
Joseph’s College of Engineering, graduating with a GPA of 9.2/10 while receiving a full
sports quota scholarship. This experience has refined my time management skills and
disciplined approach to learning and teaching.
I believe that chess is more than a game—it is a tool for building analytical thinking, strategic
planning, and emotional resilience. I am committed to creating an encouraging and
structured learning environment where students are challenged yet supported in achieving
their best.
