Hi! I’m Guvani Dewasurendra, an undergraduate in IT, specialized in Software Engineering at SLIIT, and a dedicated tutor passionate about helping students achieve their best. I completed my A/Ls as a private student in less than a year, covering two and a half years’ worth of syllabus and achieving high marks in ICT, which shows my dedication and ability to learn independently.

I teach only Sinhala medium students because I want to provide lessons in a way that is clear, relatable, and easy to understand. I believe in empowering students to self-study and discover knowledge on their own, just like I did. My teaching style focuses on practical understanding, clarity, and building confidence, so students not only memorize but truly understand the concepts.

I’m suitable as a tutor because I have first-hand experience learning under pressure, managing time efficiently, and excelling academically. I enjoy guiding school and A/L students, helping them overcome challenges, prepare for exams, and achieve their best results.

My goal is to make learning simple, enjoyable, and effective, ensuring that every student I teach can reach their full potential.

    I also guide students to target their exams strategically and aim for high marks, preparing them not just to pass, but to excel and achieve results that help them enter top universities. My approach emphasizes practical understanding, confidence-building, and self-learning, ensuring students gain both knowledge and exam skills.
