My name is Shahjad, doctorate in chemistry. I have been teaching Science and Chemistry to IB (International Baccalaureate), IGCSE, and MYP (Middle Years Programme) students. My students come from prestigious international schools in the Delhi-NCR region, including The British School (New Delhi) and Pathways School Aravalli (Gurgaon).My primary expertise lies in Chemistry, particularly tailored for IB students (both MYP and DP levels), though I also handle Physics and Biology effectively for integrated Science requirements. My teaching philosophy follows a clear progression: from easy to difficult, ensuring students build strong foundational understanding before tackling advanced concepts. I strongly believe in simplifying complex scientific and Chemistry topics by connecting them to real-life examples and everyday phenomena. To make learning truly engaging and memorable, I regularly incorporate live demonstrations, simple experiments, and visual aids during classes. For every topic, I prepare comprehensive, well-structured notes that students can rely on for revision. I also provide targeted worksheets and practice questions based exactly on what was taught in class - this reinforces conceptual clarity and promotes deeper understanding rather than rote memorization. I actively encourage students to ask questions without hesitation, create a safe and supportive environment for curiosity, and genuinely appreciate and celebrate their efforts and inquiries — no matter how basic they may seem. In addition to international curricula, I also teach Chemistry to CBSE students, covering both academic requirements (Class 9–12) and competitive exam preparation (NEET and JEE Mains/Advanced), with a focus on building strong conceptual foundations alongside problem-solving skills. I'm passionate about making Science — especially Chemistry — enjoyable, accessible, and relevant, helping every student not just score well but truly fall in love with the subject.
