Profile Description – Associate Manager (MIS)

As an Associate Manager – MIS (Management Information Systems), I play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization by managing end-to-end reporting and business intelligence functions. My responsibilities include:

Data Management & Reporting:

Collecting, consolidating, validating, and analyzing data from various business units (Sales, Finance, Operations, HR, etc.)

Designing, maintaining, and automating interactive dashboards and periodic reports for senior leadership

Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reviews

Business Performance Monitoring:

Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, NSR, sales achievement, productivity, and budget utilization

Performing variance analysis and identifying performance gaps, trends, and growth opportunities

Providing actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions

Process Improvement & Automation:

Developing and deploying automated reporting tools using Excel, Power Query, Power BI, and other BI tools

Streamlining data flows and report generation processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort

Establishing data governance and standard reporting templates across regions

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Coordinating with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, IT) to understand reporting requirements

Supporting internal audits, budgeting exercises, and strategic planning with accurate MIS data

Acting as a bridge between business and technology teams to ensure smooth data operations

People & Project Management:

Mentoring junior MIS executives/analysts and reviewing their work for quality

Leading special analytical projects and presenting findings to senior leadership

Managing tight deadlines and multiple priorities while maintaining data integrity
