I am a qualified Biology teacher with a postgraduate degree in Botany and a B.Ed. in Natural Science (Zoology & Botany). Currently, I work as a Higher Secondary Botany teacher at a CBSE school.
I believe that teaching is never about injecting what we know into others. Instead, it is about understanding what they do not know and guiding them to understand it. In life, everyone is a teacher in some way. As a teacher, I aspire to understand the challenges of my students, support them, and help them discover answers on their own. I wish to cultivate inquiry-based learning, scientific knowledge, and scientific temper in them—because what we learn by ourselves, we never forget. I see it as my duty to prepare students for that journey.
Biology, in my opinion, is a subject that can be learned with ease when approached the right way. Still, some concepts can feel challenging. I aim to make biology engaging by teaching it through real-life experiences and observations rather than rote memorization. The subject becomes simpler and more enjoyable when theory is linked with practical, real-world applications.
I believe in building a mentorship bond with students rather than a traditional teacher-student hierarchy.
