Hi, my name is Sharon.
I am a medical student with a strong passion for teaching and learning. Beyond my studies, I find joy in tutoring children and teenagers, especially in Math and English from kindergarten up to the 10th grade. I have been a private tutor for three years, and this experience has given me both the confidence and the skills to help my students achieve real progress.

My teaching style is intentional, interactive, and highly personalized. No two students are alike, so I take the time to understand your strengths, challenges, and learning pace. Together, we will create a plan that focuses on what matters most to you, especially the areas you find difficult. I don’t just “go through the motions”, I prepare ahead, design lessons that are clear and engaging, and I’m more than willing to explain a concept over and over until it finally clicks. My classes are not rushed; they are spaces where understanding comes first.
One of the things that makes me different as a tutor is that I am still a student myself. This gives me a unique perspective: I know firsthand how it feels to balance pressure, deadlines, self-doubt, and the desire to excel. Because of this, I can offer more than just academic help. I share the study hacks and tips that once helped me when I was your age, and I provide emotional support when learning feels overwhelming. I understand that sometimes connecting with teachers can feel difficult, especially if you are shy or worried about making mistakes. That’s why I strive to create a judgment-free safe space where you can be yourself, ask questions freely, and never feel embarrassed.
I believe tutoring is about partnership. We are not just “teacher and student”, we are teammates working toward the same goal. I will always provide regular feedback, and I welcome yours too, so we can keep adjusting and improving together. I celebrate your progress, no matter how small, and I see setbacks as opportunities to grow, not as failures.
