Teaching strategies that are friendly and easy to understand together with evaluation I believe to be very vital. As an educator I believe that my role is to come up with teaching strategies that can help students to easily comprehend concepts that are being taught and engage students as much as possible. I believe that evaluation in form of daily class exercise and quizzes can also be of great importance because I will be able to know whether the content I am transmitting is well understood or not as feedback from class exercises. I believe this will help me to know that I should improve my teaching strategy to be able to achieve the students’ needs and to clearly know concepts that challenge students and what I should do to help learners.
I also believe in active education. I strongly believe that students should be encouraged to be active during learning. Learners should be provided with the opportunity to participate, collaborate among themselves, and apply the knowledge they obtained in meaningful ways. I believe hands-on-activities like doing experiments, projects, and discussions should be incorporated. I believe this activities will help promote critical thinking together with creativity in students.
