• Develop project work plan and also review work plans, issue action plan/strategies developed by the partners and ensure them technically sound and in line with approved project proposal
• Review the necessary project management tools including M&E plan, Procurement Plan, Spending plan and provide feedback to ensure technical consistency of the same
• Take part in regular project strategic meetings, including inception meeting, grants reviews, closure meeting, lesson learnt meetings etc. for technical oversight.
• Provide capacity building support to both British Council and partner staff on relevant issues; identify clear capacity building needs of relevant staff and plan for structured capacity building and implementation plan
• Ensure that the implementation team is fully oriented on the project design, activities, LFA, budget and other pertinent details
• Jointly with team leader, develop capacity building plan on various aspects of advocacy, adaptive management, MEAL and ensure implementation of the same
• provide technical oversight, advice and guidance on all aspects of the programming, ensuring high quality in-line with standard methodologies and international standards
• In coordination with the MEAL and Grands coordinator, ensure that ethical and sound data collection and information management systems are in place for appropriate analysis, planning, evaluation, and advocacy
• Ensure regular collaboration and communication with other internal units and functions including, gender and social inclusion, child Protection, and protection Rules of Law to ensure integrated programming
• ensure technical standards are taken into considering in coordination with Grants Coordinator, lead the proposal development activities both narrative and budget
• Identify strategic partners both implementing partner; technical partner etc. for potential collaboration and take part in partnership assessment process.
• Dedicatedly participate in, and contribute to, coordination meetings and working groups, specifically the with the coordination group and other related task forces
• Dedicatedly build strong working alliances with Government actors, UN agencies other international and national actors/organizations working on PROKAS field
• Continuous assessment, monitoring of external context, documentation of British Councils’ program learning for evidences base of advocacy both in country and at international level
