I am a professional live vocal performer and coach with over 30 years of experience, specializing in ghazals, retro Bollywood songs, and light music. With a foundation rooted in over four decades of training in Hindustani classical and light music, I bring depth, versatility, and emotion to my style of teaching. I have also mentored my daughter, who has followed in my footsteps to become an accomplished live performer and playback singer in her own right.

Coming to my teaching style, I focus on developing my students’ pitch perfection, vocal modulations and improving upon the student’s ability to sing nuances and intricacies of a song. I also work of their diction and help develop their grasp on a variety of genres.
