My name is Kitimbo Boniface, and I am a Ugandan. I completed my Uganda Certificate of Education at Green Valley High School and Advance Certificate of Education at Our Lady of Africa Secondary School and went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Lira University, graduating in 2024 with a Second Class Upper degree.
I have practical experience in both the classroom and technical fields. At Green Valley High School, I worked as a Teaching Assistant, mainly helping to teach Mathematics. My role included guiding learners through exercises, offering tutoring to learners, supporting the teacher in lesson delivery, marking assignments, and sometimes working with smaller groups of students to make sure everyone was following along. It gave me a chance to build patience, teamwork, and communication skills while interacting with learners of different abilities.
Alongside teaching, I also gained experience as an IT Technician intern at Pride Microfinance Bank. There, I was involved in troubleshooting, software and hardware support, and system maintenance. This broadened my problem-solving skills and gave me confidence in handling technical challenges.
Beyond academics and work, I would describe myself as someone who values learning, discipline, and service. I enjoy reading, which keeps me informed and reflective, and playing football, which helps me stay active and connect with others. Coming from a family of 13 siblings has taught me patience, empathy, and a willingness to guide and encourage others.
In conclusion, I see myself as a person who is adaptable and willing to grow in different environments, whether in teaching, mentoring, or technical support. I bring with me a mix of academic knowledge, practical skills, and personal values that shape how I approach both work and everyday life.
