I am Abir Biswas, a passionate guitarist and music educator with over 12 years of teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Western Classical Music from Rabindra Bharati University (RBU).
I teach guitar performance, music theory, ear training, and composition, helping students build a solid foundation in both practical and theoretical aspects of music. My lessons focus on technique, tone, musical expression, and creativity, blending classical principles with modern playing styles. I also prepare students for music exams and performance training, ensuring they gain confidence and discipline as musicians.
Alongside teaching, I work as a music therapist at SSKM Hospital’s Neuro-Rehabilitation Department, applying music-based methods to aid patient recovery — an experience that deepens my understanding of music’s emotional and neurological impact.
My goal as a teacher is to help every student understand, feel, and express music with purpose and passion.
