I am an English Literature educator with a strong academic background and a research-oriented approach to teaching. I specialise in UGC NET English, MA English, CUET PG, and senior-secondary / IB / ISC English Literature, with a focus on close reading, critical thinking, and exam-specific answer writing.

My teaching combines conceptual clarity with structured exam preparation. I help students understand literary texts, theories, and movements in a way that makes them confident writers and critical thinkers—not just rote learners. I place special emphasis on literary theory, research aptitude, and essay structuring, which are crucial for competitive exams and higher studies.

Alongside teaching, I am actively engaged in academic research in the humanities, which allows me to bring updated scholarship, interdisciplinary perspectives, and analytical depth into my classes. My sessions are interactive, student-centred, and adapted to individual learning needs.

I offer:

UGC NET English (Paper II) coaching

MA English / CUET PG preparation

IB / ISC / undergraduate English Literature

Essay writing, literary analysis, and academic writing support

Classes are available online, with flexible timings. I also provide guided notes, practice questions, and personalised feedback to help students improve consistently.

I believe literature is best learned through understanding, discussion, and practice—and my goal is to help students feel confident, capable, and intellectually engaged with the subject.

This course is designed to support students preparing for IGCSE English by developing strong skills in reading comprehension, structured writing, and literary analysis. The focus is on helping students understand texts closely, express ideas clearly, and approach examinations with confidence and clarity.

Classes emphasise careful reading of prose, poetry, and drama, with attention to language, tone, themes, and authorial techniques. Students are guided in forming coherent interpretations and supporting their responses with relevant textual evidence. For writing, the course works on organisation, argument development, clarity of expression, and accuracy, tailored to the specific requirements of the IGCSE syllabus.

Sessions are conducted online in a discussion-based and structured format, allowing students to ask questions, test ideas, and gradually build confidence in their responses. Exam-oriented skills such as answer planning, time management, and understanding assessment criteria are integrated naturally into lessons rather than taught through rote practice alone.

This course is particularly suitable for students who wish to strengthen their analytical skills, improve written responses, or gain a more secure grasp of literary texts. Progress is approached as a steady, cumulative process, with regular feedback and guidance to help students refine their thinking and writing over time.

The aim is not only exam readiness, but also the development of thoughtful reading and clear expression—skills that will remain valuable beyond the IGCSE examination.
