Being a recent highschool graduate as the valedictorian gives me the advantage as a tutor not just academically, but also to put myself in the shoes of students and help them through their learning journey. My experiences with other students as well as the ones I've taught help me polish my teaching methods and make me very well rounded to the needs of different students. I love using pictures, diagrams and memory maps to explain concepts. My main methodology to approaching tutoring is focusing on a set goal (such as completion of a syllabus) in order to make the learning seem efficient. I love solving worksheets and going through the most difficult problems in class with the student so that they can feel more confident when they attempt to solve questions on their own. Being 19 makes me very empathetic and understanding to all problems students may face when struggling to study. It's all very natural and valid to feel and I love it when I'm able to help them devise a plan that they feel fits them perfectly. Looking forward to working with a lovely student.

    I taught Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics as part of a special summer camp at Fun N learn and was responsible to complete a specially designed syllabus within two months. Also helped structure certain experiments to help facilitate the learning process.

Fee details

    CA$20/hour (US$14.49/hour)

    Charges vary based on the hours you want me and the number of subjects. For one subject, it would be 20/hr but for two, would be 25/hr and then three would be 30/hr.
