Hello and welcome! My name is Afshan. I’m delighted to introduce myself as an online or face-to-face tutor for Turkish children and adults. I teach English and Urdu, and for younger learners up to Grade 3, I also offer lessons in English, Maths, Science, Art, and History — all taught in English. I can communicate fluently in English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, and Pashto, which helps me connect with students from diverse backgrounds. I have many years of teaching experience in top English-medium schools and colleges in Pakistan, where I taught both primary and A Level students, including Law. Having completed my higher studies in the UK and worked in British news media, I bring with me a clear native accent and confident fluency. I’m a mature, friendly, and patient tutor who understands every student’s individual learning style and works with care to help them succeed.

    1. While working as a teacher at the Beacon House School System, I taught almost all subjects to kindergarten, years 1, 2, and 3, including English, Maths, science, history, Islamic studies, art, and Urdu. I also assisted in preparing syllabi, wrote daily, weekly, and monthly planners, prepared examination papers and marked answer sheets, prepared quarterly reports, and motivated and prepared my students to participate in extracurricular activities.
