Contribute and implement the ‘Aims and Values’ with regards to inclusion, well-being and
safeguarding of students.
✓ Develop, implement and review an Inclusion Improvement Plan and an Inclusion Action Plan, in
line with the School Development Plan and for writing the Self Evaluation Form (SEF).
✓ Review and update policies (Inclusion, Child Protection, AGT) as per the KHDA guidelines. Liaise
with CPO and Health and Safety Officers, which requires consistent and diligent risk analysis
within the environment.
✓ Ensure that all students who have potential barriers to learning are identified and assessed
during admissions and later, through classroom observations and assessments.
✓ Ensure the progress of students (SEND, ELP, AGT and other vulnerable groups) is in line or above
expectations by collecting, tracking and analyzing data, using it to explain trends and outliers and
deciding the next steps. Contribute to developing, implementing and monitoring the effectiveness
and progress of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs/BIPs/ALPs) for each student.
✓ Overlook and train inclusion team members. Liaise closely with the school well-being team to
ensure a coordinated approach to students’ needs.
✓ Liaise with external specialists on subject-specific matters, as required. Organize and/or lead staff
training to help teachers to better support those students who have SEND or additional needs
(general and specific CPD). Mentor teachers, LSAs, and parents and provide strategies and help
create resources and a cohesive environment for the successful inclusion of Students with
Determination.
✓ Overlook and contribute in maintain, the SEND register in accordance with DSIB categorization,
reports from external specialists with relevant personnel, student logs, detailing meetings,
communications with parents, teachers and heads.
✓ Develop and conduct informal tests to recognize at-risk students and their current level of
performance followed by mentoring and reviewing the progress and support provided.
✓ Working closely with families by counseling and training them to achieve the best educational
outcome for students.
✓ Monitor accommodations and modifications in the curriculum as per students’ individual needs.
