I am Prabhleen Kukreja, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati, the Prime Minister’s Research Fellow (PMRF). My research lies at the intersection of Machine Learning, Federated Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and Distributed Optimization, with a focus on developing communication-efficient and Byzantine-resilient learning algorithms for edge and distributed systems.
Alongside research, I am passionate about teaching and mentoring students. I have served as a Teaching Assistant for several core courses at IIT Tirupati and the NPTEL Machine Learning course by Prof. Balaraman Ravindran, contributing tutorial videos and problem-solving sessions. I have also conducted workshops on Machine Learning for undergraduate students, aiming to bridge theoretical concepts with real-world applications.
My work has been published in reputed venues such as IEEE COMSNETS, PIMRC, and ACM SIGCOMM N2Women, and I continue to explore ways to make machine learning systems more robust, adaptive, and accessible.
Beyond academics, I enjoy creating educational resources through my YouTube tutorials, where I simplify complex ML topics for learners across India.
