I am an experienced Hifz and Arabic language teacher with over 10 years of teaching Tajweed Qur’an, and 5 years of specialized experience as a Hifz instructor. My expertise lies in Qur’anic recitation, Tajweed rules, different modes of recitation (Qira'at), with a strong focus on developing students’ fluency, accuracy, and spiritual connection to the Qur’an. I am dedicated to creating a supportive learning environment that encourages discipline, understanding, and a deep appreciation for the words of Allah.

My teaching approach focuses on developing Arabic language skills through Qur’an memorization (Hifz), allowing students to learn the language in a meaningful and spiritual context. We begin with Surah Al-Fatiha and gradually connect similar verses and expressions throughout the Qur’an. By emphasizing Arabic grammar, vocabulary, and linguistic patterns, students develop a deep appreciation and “taste” for the Qur’anic language, enhancing both their understanding and recitation, and ultimately making their Hifz journey more worthwhile.'

Having introduced Arabic learning to my own Hifz students, I have observed that they develop a stronger appreciation for the Qur’an and find memorization easier and more enjoyable.

Homework is set weekly, and students have access to me outside of lesson times for quick support with their assignments and recitation practice.
