I have 15 years of teaching in Chinese Calligraphy and Chinese Paintings. I have nurtured students from all age groups ranging from 3rd grade to senior citizens with zero knowledge for the subjects.

I take care of students with different learning goals due to their age group difference. I prepare students in schools to take part in their school and also interschool Chinese Calligraphy competition if they do aim for it. They are able to enjoy the sense of achievement in winning these competitions, whilst the highest record from them is to have qualified themselves in a district competition. In the mean time, students aiming for casual learning experience get to enjoy their time of learning extra hobbies with their preferred pace.

In the past, my students had been able to set up group exhibition to showcase their results of their artwork, and even joined me in producing a huge piece of artwork as a group performance to the public.

During classes, I do my best to make sure students can actually learn from my lessons. They will have assignments to practice what have been taught and later submit them via WhatsApp group. Assignments will be reviewed and marked for further improvements. This teaching method also allows students to review all of their past work in order to refresh their memories as well as serving a good reference for future artwork production.
