Transition from Tutorials to a Job-Ready Portfolio.
Learning UI/UX is more than just mastering Figma. It's about developing a strategic process that solves real user problems and communicates your value to employers. My goal is to bridge that gap between knowing the tools and landing the job.
I am a UI/UX designer with a background in both design and front-end development. My mentorship is focused on helping you build a foundational, process-driven approach to design that will make your portfolio stand out.
My mentorship is ideal for you if:
· You understand Figma basics but don't know how to start a real-world project from scratch. · You want to move beyond just UI and learn how to conduct user research, create wireframes, and build interactive prototypes. · You struggle to explain your design decisions in a way that would impress a hiring manager. · You want to create a cohesive, scalable design system for your projects.
What we will focus on:
· End-to-End Project Execution: We will take a project from a simple idea through the entire UX process, user research, journey mapping, wireframing, visual design, and high-fidelity prototyping. · Building a Persuasive Portfolio: I will teach you how to structure your case studies to tell a compelling story about your problem-solving skills, not just display final screens. · Design System Fundamentals: Learn how to build organized, reusable component libraries in Figma to create consistent and scalable designs. · Presentation & Justification: Master the skill of articulating your design choices, using UX principles and research to back up your decisions.
My teaching approach is adaptive and practical, focused on building the core competencies that the industry seeks. I provide direct, actionable feedback to refine both your work and your thinking.
If you are ready to build a portfolio that demonstrates not just what you can make, but how you think, I am here to guide you.
