Myself having to deal with tutors of older generation, I know how difficult their teaching system can be for most students. I prefer to teach my students in a way that they don't just memorize what is written in the course book but also understand the meaning behind it. I constantly modify my teaching methods according to a students' attention span and skill set. For me learning was a fun experience since I chose to understand rather than memorize and I tend to follow the same methods while teaching as well. My goal is not a create an academic beast but a confident, intellectual person who has their own opinion and creativity.
