Hello! I’m a caring and energetic tutor who loves helping students in Grades 1–7 learn and succeed. I am a parent too- I understand that homework, exams and lessons are rather painful and boring. I make lessons fun, interactive, and tailored to each child’s learning style. Whether your child needs help catching up or wants to get ahead, I’m here to support them with encouragement, patience, and engaging activities that make learning enjoyable. Lessons are 1-2 hours with activities and assessments. Based on my current students, I found that recapping the days work from school lessons have helped tremendously. Repetition of the basics (Time Tables, BODMAS, Formulas...) helps students build confidence with problem solving. I promote students learning techniques rather than memorizing notes, these techniques help them develop their skills throughout life. Revision is another tool I use, students are given past exam/tests and follow the set time-this helps them with time management and understanding the test/exam environment. Students are encouraged to be independent and I do stress on punctuality-this aids us all in maintaining a great learning environment.
