Teaching Methodology:
I primarily use Singaporean Mathematics materials together with Cambridge resources and Corbett Maths materials to strengthen conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills. My lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style—whether visual, verbal, or practical—so they can learn effectively and confidently. I also aim to build meaningful relationships with my students to make classes engaging, enjoyable, and far from boring.
Myself as a Tutor:
I’m a relaxed and understanding tutor who believes learning should be meaningful, not mechanical. My goal isn’t to create perfect robots, but to nurture students with compassion, curiosity, and genuine understanding in everything they do. I don’t just teach—I go beyond. I care deeply about each student’s environment, attitude, and growth, because learning happens best when there’s mutual trust and connection. Life is practical, and I always help my students see how what they learn in math connects to the real world. I believe true learning comes from understanding, not memorizing. When students grasp why something works, math becomes enjoyable, relevant, and fulfilling.
Lesson Duration:
Each class typically lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Qualifications & Experience:
I am a Nutrition graduate with a strong passion for Mathematics education. Since 2021, I have been teaching Cambridge syllabus Mathematics online, helping students from primary to secondary levels achieve excellent results, including A grades in IGCSE Mathematics.
Who My Lessons Are For:
My lessons are suitable for Cambridge primary and secondary students, or anyone who wishes to brush up on Mathematics at these levels. Math is universal—different syllabuses simply arrange topics differently, but the core concepts remain the same. I also work with students following the Australian Mathematics curriculum.
