I am a passionate and results-driven Physics and Chemistry teacher with strong experience teaching both the Kenyan curriculum and IGCSE. Over the years, I have helped students strengthen their understanding of core scientific concepts, improve problem-solving skills, and achieve better academic performance.
My teaching style is student-centered, structured, and highly interactive. I believe that science should be understood, not memorized. I break down complex topics into simple, logical steps, use real-life examples to make lessons relatable, and apply guided practice to ensure students master calculations and practical-based questions. For IGCSE learners, I focus heavily on exam techniques, command words interpretation, and structured answering methods to maximize marks.
My methodology includes diagnostic assessments to identify weak areas, customized lesson planning based on the student’s level, regular progress tracking, and targeted revision strategies. I also provide continuous feedback and practical tips to improve accuracy, speed, and confidence in examinations.
What makes me a great teacher is my patience, clarity in explanation, and commitment to each student’s progress. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence. My goal is not only to improve grades but to build long-term understanding and independent thinking in Physics and Chemistry.
