Hello! I’m a Brazilian tutor teaching both English and Portuguese, and I’m passionate about helping students feel confident and comfortable while learning a new language. My journey with languages is very personal. As a scuba diving instructor, I moved to this side of the world with the goal of improving my English so I could teach diving in English. This experience gave me a deep understanding of what it truly feels like to learn a second language in real life — with challenges, cultural differences, and moments of self-doubt.
Because of that, I teach with empathy, patience, and encouragement. I believe education should be light, supportive, and adapted to each student’s rhythm. The best way to learn is through consistent practice in a safe environment where mistakes are seen as part of growth. I focus especially on conversation, confidence building, and real-life communication.
Beyond teaching, I’m passionate about diving, traveling, exploring new cultures, and personal development. Living abroad has expanded not only my language skills but also my worldview — and I love bringing that cultural awareness into my lessons.
