Why me as a teacher?
The difference between a student who "hates math" and one who excels is often just the way the material is presented. With over 4 years of experience and a deep expertise in Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus, I don't just teach students how to solve equations—I teach them how to think. I am a "great" teacher because I combine high-level mathematical expertise with the empathy required to support a struggling learner.
My Methodology: The "Build-Up" Approach
I don’t believe in "quick fixes" that lead to future confusion. My methodology focuses on:
Targeted Gap-Filling: We identify the specific foundational concepts that were missed in previous years.
Visual & Interactive Learning: I use digital tools and visual aids to turn abstract formulas into concrete, logical concepts.
The Socratic Technique: I guide students to discover the answer themselves through structured questioning, which builds permanent "brain pathways" rather than temporary memorization.
Teaching Style: Patience Meets Progress
I maintain a student-centered, low-stress environment. I understand that math anxiety is real, so I prioritize building a friendly rapport where students feel safe to make mistakes. My style is patient and encouraging, designed to transform frustration into those "aha!" moments that build genuine confidence.
The Results
Academic Improvement: Most of my students see a letter-grade increase within the first 3 months of consistent tutoring.
Confidence Growth: Beyond the numbers, my students move from being passive observers in class to active, confident participants.
Exam Readiness: I provide students with the specific problem-solving frameworks needed to handle high-pressure exams with ease.
