As a Children Program Junior Officer, I supported the planning, coordination, and implementation of educational and child centered programs under the Children Program, working closely with the Children Program Coordinator, interns, and partner schools.
Key Responsibilities & Contributions:
- Implemented PBL 6 and PBL 7 projects, and supported the facilitation of Experiential Learning (EL) classes, ensuring alignment with yearly program goals.
-Led and coordinated Doc Fest activities under the PBL 7 program, supporting students in documentation, reflection, and presentation of their learning.
- Assisted in planning and managing logistics for PBL and EL classes, including attendance tracking, field visit coordination, family communication, material preparation, and resource management.
- Supported the smooth execution of program activities by maintaining organized documentation, physical files, and learning materials.
- Managed monthly expense tracking, reporting for PBL and EL projects, ensuring timely submission and transparency.
- Facilitated English classes for Grade 5 students as part of the preparatory phase for future PBL6 enrollment.
- Prepared monthly project reports, supported external communications, and contributed to donorrelated documentation and justifications.
- Conducted school visits to monitor beneficiary progress and coordinate with schools under the Family Support and Children Program.
- Actively participated in training and development sessions, enhancing teamwork and professional growth.
- Created and shared weekly task reminders, attended staff meetings, and documented minutes for effective coordination.
- Provided support to other organizational projects in Kathmandu, Patan, Mahendranagar, and Biratnagar when required.
Through this role, I strengthened my skills in program coordination, communication, documentation, teamwork, and child centered education, while contributing meaningfully to community based learning initiatives.
