“I am a BSc graduate from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura with a strong academic background in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, and Statistics. I currently work as a teacher at an international school teaching Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry under the Edexcel OL syllabus. I also conduct home-visit tuition classes and have more than 5 years of teaching experience helping students improve their understanding and achieve better exam results.
In my academic journey, I achieved excellent results in the local syllabus examinations, obtaining 9A passes in the 2016 GCE Ordinary Level examination and following the Mathematics stream for GCE Advanced Level in 2020, achieving 1A and 2C results. I also hold a Diploma in English which helps me communicate clearly and effectively with students in an international learning environment.
My teaching approach focuses on explaining difficult concepts in a simple and practical way, strengthening fundamentals, and practicing exam-style questions and past papers. I adapt my teaching methods according to each student's ability level to help them build confidence and perform well in both local and international examinations.”
