I am Amritha Venkatraman, a dedicated Bharatanatyam artist based in Bangalore with over 18 years of experience in the art form. I received 12 years of formal training under the esteemed Guru Sri J. Suryanarayana Murthy and Smt. Rama Suryanarayana Murthy, and I currently continue my journey through self-practice and self-exploration.

I have performed at over 300 cultural events across reputed platforms in cities such as Thanjavur, Tirupati, Chennai, Vellore, Kolkata, Delhi, and many more, sharing the grace and depth of Bharatanatyam with diverse audiences. I have also had the privilege of performing with my students on Ayush TV (Karnataka) and on Makkal TV (Tamil Nadu).

Academically, I hold a Distinction in Bharatanatyam from Annamalai University, and I have completed a Diploma in Abhinaya and Bharatanatyam through the Prayathnam team, affiliated with Dr. J Jayalalithaa Music and Fine Arts University. I am also pursuing advanced studies through Gandharva Mahavidyalaya to further deepen my artistic practice.

With over six years of teaching experience, I mentor students through my institution—Shwastik Arts Academy, while actively performing as a freelance artist and continuing my personal exploration of the art form.

I have been honored with titles such as Natyayuvamani, Bharatanatya Narthaki, and Nritya Upasaka, and remain committed to preserving, practicing, and sharing the timeless beauty of Bharatanatyam.
