I am an economist and business administrator with more than 10 years of experience teaching quantitative subjects in economics, statistics, and data analysis to students from advanced high school to undergraduate, master’s, and PhD programs. My professional background in research, data science, and impact evaluation allows me to connect academic concepts with real-world decision-making.

My teaching approach combines intuitive analogies, visual reasoning, and mental maps to help students truly understand complex ideas rather than memorize formulas. I regularly teach microeconomics, macroeconomics, game theory, probability, statistical inference, regression, sampling, econometrics, and quantitative research methods.

I care deeply about the motivation and confidence of my students. Many struggle not only with the material, but also with frustration, gaps in their background, or difficulties with professors. I work with students patiently to break problems into manageable steps, suggest practical study strategies, and help them make better use of the academic resources available at their universities.

I am also creative when working with students who feel they have gaps in their mathematical background. Rather than judging, I focus on finding practical shortcuts and intuitive explanations that allow them to keep progressing without getting stuck on formal proofs (especially for non-economics students taking advanced economics classes for the first time)

40,000 COP – Basic or intermediate level, when the topic can be explained directly during the lesson and **no prior material review is required**.

60,000 COP – Basic or intermediate level with prior material review, when the student needs me to **review specific materials before the lesson** (for example: articles, slides, instructions, or assignment guidelines).
